Job Title:
Senior Market Analyst

Why do you want to climb Mt Kilimanjaro?
As a personal challenge, but also to give visibility and raise funds to the great job performed by UNICEF.

What has been the most challenging thing about this initiative so far?
Being able to involve friends and family into raising funds.

What is the most interesting thing you have learned about yourself so far?
As part of the training I did the Camino de Santiago Primitivo, some stages were really challenging (one day doing almost 50km) and I realize when the body seems to be about to give up, the mind can still push further

How are you raising your UNICEF funds?
Involving friends, colleagues and family. I’m trying to organize also an event to get everyone together to have some fun while fundraising at the same time.

If there was going to be a Kilimanjaro playlist for your climb, what song would you choose?
Tough one! Not really sure as I listen to many different types of music and I usually set my music on random so it “jumps” from one song to the other and many times not even the same music style.

What luxury are you planning on taking up the mountain with you?
My phone to be able to listen to already downloaded podcasts and being able to take pictures. Also a notebook to write a summary of the day every night.

Is there anything you are ‘dreading’?
Altitude sickness, as it is something I might not able to control. Unlike for example being tired where you can train your strength in advance and push harder with your “mind”.

What are you looking forward to most?
Overcoming such a challenge and getting to know my self’s limits better.
