Twende Support Crew

Welcome to the Team Twende Support Crew page!

As you may recall, in December as our first team of Challenger’s, The Ascenders, embarked on their climb up Kili, our wonderful Ascenders Support Crew in Clare and Hilary did an amazing job in sending the guys on their way, supporting them through difficulties and reporting back to us back at home on their progress and success.

This time, it’s Team Twende’s turn and we have a brand new support team for the adventure. The Team Twende Support Crew consists of Caroline Frost and established support crew member, Hilary Williams.

Similarly to last time, they will be travelling out to Tanzania with the guys and be on the ground for their whole experience, offering a friendly face and motivating support to the Challengers in Tanzania as they begin their climb. They will be our first point of contact for updates and messages as our roaming Tanzania reporters on the ground. Not only that but Hils and Caroline will take part in the first stage of the Kili climb from Rongai Gate to Simba Camp. Here, they will bid their farewells to our Twendee’s until they welcome them back with open arms on the last leg of the journey on the way down.
