Wednesday was a fantastic day! I held a Cake Sale / ‘Bid High to Pie’ auction to fundraise for Unicef and my Mount Kili climb next February. We had a 3 tier Unicef / Kilimanjaro cake and a ‘Chocolate heaven’ cake. Both looked fantastic and tasted delicious!
The rules for our ‘Bid High to Pie’ were simple: myself and four very courageous volunteers ( Mark Windsor, Santo Amoddio, Neil Challice, Kirstin Stocker) were auctioned to the highest bidder who got to throw the pie (paper place smoothed in cream) in the face of each volunteer. It generated so much excitement for the office and the generous donations were incredible!
The mess in the office from the aftermath was quite a sight and the smell of the cream on myself an hour later was worse! (Despite a hard scrub!)
Thank you to everyone who donated! Especially those who were great sports and volunteered! In total we managed to raise over £500 for Unicef which was more than I could have imagined!

With invention like that, I’m sure this will be a ‘cake-walk’ for you, you’ve creamed that one
