The last of summer has ebbed away, the clocks have changed and the nights are drawing in – and I’m struggling to adjust my training routine. The reality is I’m a morning person and it seems my motivation wanes if I don’t get going first thing! The lovely mild, sunny early mornings are now dark, cold and decidedly unappealing and so it’s time for a change. My boots and poles are ready and waiting for the weekends…but it’s time to shake things up a bit and work out a new strategy during the week!
