With an early flight at 6.50 on Thursday 6th, 2018- so I had to get up at 4.15 as I needed to still change some USD for tips and others – I left by plane i in Vienna by -3° to Amsterdam. All Ascenders were flying in from all over Europe and then an 8h trip to Airport Kilimanjaro near Arusha. I watched three perfect films in a row:  The silence of the lambs, Red Sparrow and Alpha – I really can recommend them if you haven’t seen them yet. At 21:00 – timeshift of +2h – we arrived airport and realised the wonderful warm weather with 30°. And then next morning the breathtaking first sight on Kilimanjaro! Exciting!!!
