One week to go!

Teide is the highest mountain in Spain (3.718 m) and it shares with Kilimanjaro the fact that they are both volcanoes. It´s located in one of the Canary Islands (Tenerife) and  last weekend me and my wife were lucky enough to reach the summit on a very sunny day. It´s not as great an achievement as it might look… there´s a cable car that almost drive you there…but still worth to get the permit and walk the last meters to contemplate the breathtaking views from the top. Also I can say my body responded very well to the altitude there, so I hope it´s a good sign for what´s coming next…
