Yes, Kilimanjaro challenge changed everything, also my Summer holidays. Training was an important plan of my vacation this year and this let me discover both exciting and peaceful places in Switzerland and Germany. Climbing Mount Pilatus (2,073m) with its spectacular views was perfect, and a break especially due to the unexpected (at least for me 😊) heatwave throughout Europe; visiting small villages in Germany such as Friburg, Gengenbach and Triberg, (with a trekking at the highest waterfalls in the country) all of them full of surprises was amazing. I also had some days for taking my hiking clothes off and had the chance to enjoy Northen Italy, Lake Como and its surroundings, that was the perfect ending of my trip!
