It’s been well over a month since my last blog here, so I thought I’d best get on and add something new!

This past weekend I set the alarm for silly o’cock in the morning, and dragged my wife along with me to local beauty spot, Box Hill. We arrived before sunrise, which gave me the perfect opportunity to test out one of my new purchases – a head torch. I was careful not to blind my wife, as the thing is ridiculously bright, and it more than lit the way on our way up the first hill.

We only had a couple of hours for walking due to getting children to Saturday morning sports training (hence the early start), but it was a decent stroll in the woods, with plenty of ups and downs, although I am not so sure my better half enjoyed it as much as I did..!
