The money you’re raising helps us to reach children in danger in some of the world’s toughest areas – we simply couldn’t do what we do without you. You’re doing amazing things, and we can’t wait to hear all about how you get on.

Thank you for the good wishes, UNICEF! This morning (day one of the climb), the whole team is in great spirits. We have had breakfast, done final kit and bag checks, and everyone is ready. We will set off from the lodge at 8:30am (in about 10 minutes from now!) local time and then have a three hour journey to the Rongai Gates, where we’ll start hiking. Smiles and much excitement all around. Thank you to everyone for your wishes and support. We are ready!
