Nine members of Team Ubuntu arrived at the Uhuru (the very top of Africa!) at 3:20pm this afternoon. Initial reports are that they encountered a bit of snow, but they are all safe and well and on their descent into Kibo Camp. We expect them to arrive at Kibo early this evening and we’ll update this site as soon as we hear any news.
Kati is resting comfortably and Rob is safely back in camp after his summit to the top of the mountain at Gilman’s Point.
Well done, Team Ubuntu…we are so proud of each and every one of you eleven amazing climbers!!!
