And I said, ‘Yes, that sounds like a very prudent course of action’…
Some say it was the 3 Yorkshire peaks what did it…
Some say it was the lack of compliance that Mr Parnell paid to the HSE work place ergonomic advice… (much to his subsequent regret and pain).
But whatever it was that did; it did it bad and the shoulder has been in real discomfort since Nov 8th now.
It’s been aching, and hurting, and going numb, and giving me pins’n’needles, and generally being a real pain in the shoulder.
But it’s not just that it’s been very painful, it’s also been very frustrating watching from the side-lines as colleagues from both Twende and Ascenders post regular updates about their activities.
So… I got myself to the GP, and the GP said Physiotherapy, so I got myself to the Physio.
It’s been a bit up and down since, but I think it’s gonna sort itself soon.
It has to, or I’m going to go nuts.
As Radiohead said ‘you do it to yourself, you do, and that’s what really hurts’ which it is, it is that, and the pain that’s also what really hurts.

Oh dear Dan-or-Daniel…this is not good. We all hope it eases off. Maybe Max will carry your rucksack….
Thanks Will-or-William x
Hey Dan, take care of yourself and that shoulder! Slow and steady wins the race, you will have time to catch up with your training when you’re fully restored.
Thanks Sonja! I will try… Still no improvement to date though and frustration is on the increase!
