Unfassbar, dieses ganz weit entfernte große Ziel ist jetzt zum Greifen nah. Haben wir nicht gestern erst die “count me in” Mail von Lindsey bekommen? Und jetzt sitzen die Ascenders alle inmitten Ihrer Unmengen an Ausrüstung und versuchen an alles zu denken und das dann auch noch alles in die Tasche zu bekommen. Und wir sind aufgeregt, ich für meinen Teil sogar sehr aufgeregt. Auf eine gute Weise, aber so ab und an fragt man sich doch: wie ist denn das jetzt alles passiert und so schnell?

Unbelievable, this very distant and massive goal is now within our grasp. Didn’t we just get the “count me in” mail from Lindsey yesterday? And now the Ascenders are all sitting in the middle of their vast amount of equipment, trying to think of everything and get it all into their bags. And we are excited, I am actually very excited. In a good way, but now and then you ask yourself: how did all this happen?
