I thought about how to raise donations for our Kilimanjaro Challenge and then in October I came up with the idea of offering children’s ski lessons as a ski instructor, as I used to do when I was a ski instructor for 20 years in my free time on weekends in the winter when I was younger. So I talked to my ski club about whether we could offer ski lessons for kids, where I could use the revenue for the course for UNICEF. And so it happened – at the weekend, near Sölden (Austria), I taught a children’s group as a ski instructor. The net revenue plus donations from some parents amount to 298.50 EURO.
