This team never fails to surprise and inspire me, a situation arises, we put our heads together, form a plan and kick into action.

Lost luggage, we have it covered, before we knew it, the spare kit list was drafted and a shopping trip into Moshi organised to call on the essentials. (I’ll let Pippa tell of the knickergate affair 😂)

Through all this the team are pulling together, it inspires and motivates me beyond words, and having met our guides today, I feel more confident than ever that we can accomplish the challenge ahead.

Patience, empathy, love, concern, camaraderie, I have seen all these attributes in spades, and that’s before we even climb the mountain !

I think it’s fair to say I feel privileged and honoured to be a member of this fantastic team.

We are a real A team, and in the words of the great Hannibal Smith, “I do love it when a plan comes together”
