Job Title:
Quality Manager in the Car To Market team

Why do you want to climb Mount Kilimanjaro?
First, collaborate with UNICEF, secondly, this is a unique opportunity for challenging myself and for personal development: work on self-knowledge, motivations and learn more about my strengths and weaknesses; and the third reason is to have this experience with colleagues, it will be fantastic to meet new colleagues and to share feelings and experiences

What do you think will be your biggest challenge?
Besides the altitude challenge, the preparation for the experience. I will need to focus my spare time on this and organise myself and my life for a year, so I can establish training plans and activities related to the challenge

How are you planning to raise money for UNICEF?
I will involve family, friends, friends of friends, social networking, and I would try to be creative in ways to get money (I will try to think about plans so people donating money can have the opportunity to get something in return)

If there was going to be a team playlist for your Kili climb, what three songs would you choose?
Flashdance…What a Feeling, from Irene Cara
The Final Countdown, from Europe
Livin’ On A Prayer, from Bon Jovi

What luxury item are you planning to bring with you to Kilimanjaro?
A music player; can’t live without music

What is your favourite chocolate bar?
Bounty

Is there anything you are dreading about the Challenge?
The altitude and lack of oxygen and how my body could face this, as this is something that you cannot control even if you are physically well prepared

What part of the Challenge are you looking forward to most?
Feel the disconnection from the real world and enjoy it with colleagues. Also the views, and the feeling of meeting challenges each day (I hope!)
